At the end of the mobility, Unime issues a Transscript of Records (for BA and MA students) of all exams taken as part of the learning agreement and a work achievement letter for doctoral students. The aim of the meeting is to inform academic stakeholders about Jean Monnet activities, to present the application procedure and the necessary documents and to provide examples of good practice. The event is aimed at the scientific (teaching) staff of the university wishing to develop short modules of 40 hours in European studies that will be taught over 3 consecutive years. The training is delivered by Kristine Gevorgyan, Jean Monnet Module Coordinator, Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Expert. To participate in the training unit, please register before the 17th. December 2018 by providing your contact details on info@erasmusplus.am. Jean Monnet Activities aim to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies. For more information, see the Erasmus+ Programme Guide (pages 203-233): from June 2019, the programme will take place within six weeks at different colleges, universities and academic institutions in the USA. Each institute includes a four-week academic residency component and up to two weeks of an integrated study trip to another region of the United States.

Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars (SUSIs) are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours that aim to enable foreign academic faculties and other scientists to deepen their understanding of American society, culture, values, and institutions. The ultimate goal of the institutes is to strengthen school curricula and improve the quality of U.S. education at academic institutions abroad. This year, seven institute programs will be offered:. The UniME International Cooperation and Education Unit will provide assistance to visa issuing and accommodation institutions. All accepted students will be informed of all relevant information about university life in Messina and the necessary procedures. Students receiving an Erasmus+ grant shall reimburse all or part of the EU grant if they do not comply with the conditions of the grant agreement and/or if they do not complete and submit the final report online, unless they are prevented from carrying out their planned activities abroad due to force majeure. Mobility for studies: have a university degree (equivalent to a bachelor`s degree or higher); Upon arrival, the selected student must sign the financial agreement provided by Unime (an email containing these instructions is sent to the students). The aim is to encourage participating teachers to create learning communities with their peers and promote learning beyond the boundaries of a single classroom or school.
